The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office responded to a variety of incidents throughout the day on February 18, 2026. Below is a summary of notable events: 6:33 AM – Deputies were out of position to respond to a traffic matter on Interstate 90 and referred the call to Montana Highway Patrol. 7:22 AM – Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 90. 2:50 PM – Deputies responded to a suspicious incident on Eldorado Lane after a caller reported that three males drove by, exited their vehicle, and photographed her daughter. 4:17 PM – Deputies responded to a suspicious persons report in Meadow Village, where a caller alleged a man from an RV was selling drugs, claimed her smoke detector and fire alarm had been tampered with, and expressed concern about a pending eviction notice; the RV had left the area prior to deputies' arrival.
