The older child her the knock on the door, answered and she locked the deadbolt. Children are refusing to go with him for his week of visitation. further stated its been an issue since his last visitation when daughter left his house after he took her tablet away as a form of punishment. The daughter left the residence, which believed she was going to cool off. The daughter actually walked to a gas station and hitch hiked to parents. confirmed this however, she was concerned about behavior over the punishment, which she believed was more than taking the tablet according to the daughter and son. I spoke with who advised that she told the kids they didn't have to go, which she acknowledged may be a violation of the parenting plan. did state that she would have to physically drag their daughter out of the apartment to go with for his visitation, which she did not want to do. further stated their kids often tell they don't want to go with during his visitation. Both parties were advised to follow the parenting plan and co-parent the children. Both were also advised that will need to file a contempt of the parenting plan with District Court if he felt a violation occurred and they were not able to come to an alternative agreement.
